Shipping Container Floor Plan

Here's a quick floor plan for a shipping container house.  The dimensions are for 3-20' x 8' x 9' container, with 3 of them placed side by side, the middle one is set back 4 feet.  It is a rancher style, so only one floor.

    Nice layout Paul!
    What is the heat retention like in shipping container houses?
    Do the walls need to be modified at all in order to retain heat?

      Well, since the steel conducts heat very well, the walls would need a bit more insulating that in a normal wall, but beyond that, not a whole lot.

    I heard the construction charge is more of
    shipping containers. But its easily affordable as compare to normal house. What material do you use.
